National KAIZEN Project in Ghana

Truspire Co., Ltd has been engaged in the project since January 2016. Our executive officer Mr. Mitsuo Tamada, having a lot of experiences in various development projects in African countries, has been appointed for the task.

The project aims to provide KAIZEN training to Business Advisory Centre (BAC) Heads in Accra and four regions in collaboration with the project’s counterpart, National Board for Small Scale Industry

 (NBSSI). It is a department of Ministry of Trade and Industy and is responsible for SME development in Ghana.

The first phase of the project (2012-2015) was implemented in Ashanti region and the current second phase (2016-2018) is being undertaken in two parts: Advanced KAIZEN in Ashanti region and Basic KAIZEN in other three regions.  The BAC Heads in Ashanti Region are expected to supervise the Basic KAIZEN OJT sessions presented by the BAC Heads in these threee regions.

Mr. Tamada has been training the BAC Heads in Ashianti and Northern Regions in KAIZEN methodologies, Basic and Advanced, through lectures and OJT sessions for the employees at the selected enterprises. He has supervised the OJT at Sheabutter processing, furniture and brick manufacturing and roofing industry.

Basic KAIZEN focuces mainly on 5S (Sorting, Setting-in-order, Shining, Standardizing, Sustaining), 7 Wastes, QC (Quality Control) circle and basic IE(Industrial Engineering). Advanced KAIZEN includes Process analysis and control, Time Study, Factory layout improvement, Cost benefit anaysis and KAIZEN Master Plan, etc. The trainings of both Basic and Advanced KAIZEN are comprised of classroom lecturs and OJT sessions.

SBS – IA (International Advisory, Advice for Small Business) , new title for EBRD support programme for SME

EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), since the collapse of the Soviet Union, has provided small and medium-sized businesses in the region with financial and managerial support, first as TAM (Turn Around Management) Programme and recently as EGP (Enterprise Growth Programme). Now since January 2016, the title of the service has been renewed as SBS – IA (Small Business Support – International advisory). The advisors have provided them on-the-site advice and industry expertise, contributing to help them improve their performance and growth.

We have been contracted by the programme, the President as TC (Team Co-ordinator) and the senior consultants as Senior Industrial Advisors, for our assistance in the areas of production and quality management, sales, marketing, management, finance and accounting. We would be pleased if our assistance would contribute to the growth of the small and medium sized businesses in the region.

JCCI Bookkeeping Course Open at Myanmar Japan Human Resources Development Center

DSC01776The MJC trial course for JCCI (Japan Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Bookkeeping Level 3 was given 5-15 January at the above center in Yangon.
The participants learned basic bookkeeping through lecture, followed by practices and tests. The course was prepared and conducted by our Senior Consultant.

Being CPA (Japan), he has been aware of the increasing demands for accounting staff with knowledge in bookkeeping and has been taking part in initiative preparing a career development course in Myanmar.

P1160266 無題The country has been attracting more and more businesses of foreign capital, but still it is short of highly qualified human resources with knowledge and skills enough to practice at work in terms of bookkeeping or accounting field, even inventory and production control.

We have been devoted in the MJC Human Resources Development projects since November 2013, providing the local participants with the lectures on business planning, production control and finance and accounting. The new course is expected to increase business opportunities for the companies, local and foreign, and career development opportunities for the people of Myanmar.
