We have been cooperating with Kumon Publishing Co., Ltd. as their Agent, in the Uzbek language drill publishing operations of a publisher in Uzbekistan. Sakura Books Ltd., the publisher, successfully published the Kumon Drills recently, and on May 15th they held a commemorative event for the publication at the JICA Uzbekistan Japan Center. The Kumon representatives attended online and introduced Kumon Philosophy and the popularity of the drills. It was a good opportunity to deepen understanding of Kumon Drills.
Sakura Books acquired the rights of the four Kumon Drills. The company will be selling the Uzbek version of the Drills within Uzbekistan. We are happy and proud that we have been involved in the publication of Uzbek drill books – the first of its kind in the world. We hope Uzbek version of Drills will increase in variety and volume, enabling Uzbek infants and children to have more learning opportunities and the joy of learning.
